how much space. if your real limited use the strongest compact florecents you can find. walmart sells 42 watt cfl. soil is how I'm growing for now. I may hydro soon. few of those , they can be as close as an inch from the plants make sure to use reflectors to direct light. soda cans work great I learned that in one of the other threads. cut out the top and bottom them make one vertical cut the two intersecting cuts one at the top and one at the bottom to form an

peel back walla reflector put bulb through the top and screw in to socket. works great I have 4; good for small spaces. soil is a good starting place. germinate some seeds, get a plate some paper towels and a bowl. dampen paper towels place seed in a dark warm place under bowl. let them split and plant root down 1/2 inch deep. watch them extra close keep soil moist until plants sprout. spend the dollar and get watering tabs. no nutrients until it starts producing leaves. start of with weak and build up to sugested amount. some say half recommended dose. the tabs they let you know when to water. flood them until it comes out the bottom. watch the tab and you'll never over or under water. bigger pot less watering. get a ph tester test your tap water. I use three caps of vinegar to bring down ph of my tap water. I use a fish tank ph test. superthrive is pretty good stuff to add to your choosen plant food. plants love nitrogen essecially during veg phase. durring flowering phosphates. the numbers on the plant food indicate levels of these ingredients nitrogen phosphates, and potasium. hope that help you choose plant food. You can start your plant 24/7 light if you like then I would back it off to 18 on 6 off. once you wish to flower your plants switch to 12 on 12 off. dark means dark no peaking or light leaks. well good luck.

hey jordan

you want to put them back outside.
sunlight coming in threw the window really sucks
and could fuck your plants up and turn them hermie due to a crazy environment change.
never change the environment of your plants unless its detrimental!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the yellowing wasnt from the sun,
you either over watered them or your Nitrogen levels are screwed up.
what kind of soil are you using and are you using any nutes?
what kind of water are you using and have you checked your ph?

I am wondering the same thing. I've had a few bananas just pop up on some of my plants but ive removed them. I had this happen in my last crop, and i did the same by pulling them and the plant turned out fine. Im wondering tho, will more and more begin to pop up?

I am also wondering about this. I only have 2 1/2 or so weeks left of flowering and I just noticed some bananas and some seeds starting to from just on one of the top colas of my plant and nowhere else. Any suggestions?

Well I didn't want it to destroy anything else so I pulled it. But i was still wondering in the last 2 weeks would that be enough to seed all my other plants to the point of unwanted smoking??

.... I actually don't know if anyone even reads this thread haha.

Anyways if no one does I will update and see what happens. I have separated it and continued to grow it but I am only able to flush it. We'll see the quality after it was pulled early though.... I'm extremely picky about my smoke so... might just make it all into butter or hash.....

Hey bud pull the banannas off. Are you sure there are seeds in there and not "false seed pods" which are empty? If there are seeds make sure you harvest when those have "shelled out" so that at least you will have good, viable seeds for the next time. Of course if they hermied because of genetics those bad genetics will be passed on to the seeds. If they hermied from the environment such as stress, you are golden and maybe there were even no hermies at all but were fertilized from an outside source.

Man that is a definite hermi if thats a feminized seed. I'd get that away from your other plants ASAP if you don't want them all to go down. Looks like that could pollinate any minute if it hasn't already....

Is that a separate plant behind it? I'm quite sure I can see seed pods on that one too.

That a pretty mature hermi too I don't think I've ever seen one that far along. Crazy.

ok so ive got a question
if ive got a hermie and its in the early stages
whaat if i do some precision surgery and use an Xacto knife to cut off all of the male parts from the plant very carefully. and them keep a lookout on it and cut any more that pop up.
if i keep up on this enough will this work to keep my crop unfertalized?

I think so but depending on WHY they went hermie, the bud might not be great.
