hey jordan you want to put them back outside. sunlight coming in threw the window really sucks and could fuck your plants up and turn them hermie due to a crazy environment change. never change the environment of your plants unless its detrimental!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the yellowing wasnt from the sun, you either over watered them or your Nitrogen levels are screwed up. what kind of soil are you using and are you using any nutes? what kind of water are you using and have you checked your ph? |

I am wondering the same thing. I've had a few bananas just pop up on some of my plants but ive removed them. I had this happen in my last crop, and i did the same by pulling them and the plant turned out fine. Im wondering tho, will more and more begin to pop up? | |

Well I didn't want it to destroy anything else so I pulled it. But i was still wondering in the last 2 weeks would that be enough to seed all my other plants to the point of unwanted smoking?? .... I actually don't know if anyone even reads this thread haha. Anyways if no one does I will update and see what happens. I have separated it and continued to grow it but I am only able to flush it. We'll see the quality after it was pulled early though.... I'm extremely picky about my smoke so... might just make it all into butter or hash.....

Hey bud pull the banannas off. Are you sure there are seeds in there and not "false seed pods" which are empty? If there are seeds make sure you harvest when those have "shelled out" so that at least you will have good, viable seeds for the next time. Of course if they hermied because of genetics those bad genetics will be passed on to the seeds. If they hermied from the environment such as stress, you are golden and maybe there were even no hermies at all but were fertilized from an outside source.

Man that is a definite hermi if thats a feminized seed. I'd get that away from your other plants ASAP if you don't want them all to go down. Looks like that could pollinate any minute if it hasn't already.... Is that a separate plant behind it? I'm quite sure I can see seed pods on that one too. That a pretty mature hermi too I don't think I've ever seen one that far along. Crazy.

ok so ive got a question if ive got a hermie and its in the early stages whaat if i do some precision surgery and use an Xacto knife to cut off all of the male parts from the plant very carefully. and them keep a lookout on it and cut any more that pop up. if i keep up on this enough will this work to keep my crop unfertalized? |

I think so but depending on WHY they went hermie, the bud might not be great.
