Terpischore, when I've made cannabutter using the doubler boiler method as described under "method 1" in my first post, I cooked it for about 25 minutes because I wasn't sure. The recipie says from 20 to 45 minutes. I went for 25 keeping a close eye on not cooking it too hot. I figured it wouldn't hurt to keep cooking it provided I didn't burn it, but I wasn't sure. It was strong as shit though, lol.
The key is you want to cook with the lowest head possible, which is why it takes awhile. Avoid burning it at
all costs, as it will most likely ruin the high, and for sure will ruin the taste.
I've only used butter, but I know that any type of saturated-fat oil will do the trick as THC is fat-soluble.
And yes, please feel free to share them.
Edit: Def, go with a double boiler as it will be far less likely you'll have an issue with burning it.
