It hasnt been tested throughly, I beleive I read an Article about the orignal inventor of the sensory deprivation tank expeirimenting with LSD before it was outlawed. Since then apparently few if any people have researched further. Strange thing is the websites that sell the tanks do not publicly post their prices (contact is required which I found odd). There are some places that you can buy time to use it, but then again I'd much rather do it at home, relaxed wtih a friend nearby, the tension of a public place might ruin the focus and relaxation requied for introspective thought.
The artist alex grey, had expeiremented with sensory deprivation as well, He and his wife invented the "Mindfold", then sold the rights, they are still sold today.

Though my acess to Hallucingeons are limited and I'd be hard pressed to find a sensory dep, tank around here, Most likely when I get to college in canada It will be easier. I will be living off campus, so in additiion a grow room Ill probably buy one the cheaper tanks.
