I have a beach hosue in Santa Cruz. I live mainly in East Bay San Fran though. The weather in the Bay Area is great compared to other places. I agrre though, LA is horrible. Santa Cruz is the perfect place because you don't have the assholes from SoCal but you have the beaches and woman.
And be prepared to bring lots of money for rent and expenses. Min. wage is $6.75 but be prepared to shell out a
t the very least $1000/month on a 1bedroom 1 bath. SF and LA prices are the highest (I've seen $2100 for a shitty 2 bd. apt. in the Mission District of SF)
gl CA is a great place to live. Oh yeah and pot is decriminilized meaning $100 fine for under 1 oz. of weed.
