1000w is going to be over kill in a box that size. Are you going to be using a cool tube? If not, how are you going to control temperature?
If you've never grown before, you should be more concerned with learning to grow than maximizing yield. Really, everyone wants a quick-growing, high-yielding, powerful strain. A better choice might be to look for a forgiving strain that will allow you to figure everything out.
