like what makes them so speical is there some, special way they smoke to get you higher (what i first heard a long time ago) just thinking making conversation

well maybe I should correct what I said. I think if you buy one of the 7mm thickness ROORs with bistabil joints then its pretty safe to say its higher quality than 99% of the glass out there. Not many people make 7mm thick bongs. But do they get you higher?? Well I have smoked out of a green label ROOR with diffusor and ashcatcher and I can honestly say my bong gets me as high if not more.
I have a really nice bubbler, but I rarely use it because my bong is so damn effective.....helps me to converse herb, big time. I rarely do joints or blunts unless im in the mood....any other method just seems like a waste.
I know these two guys who smoke a lot as well, and when I went over to their apartment the other day, they had not one, not two, but THREE broken ROORs on the shelf. All broken in the same exact place, right at the joint where the downstem meets the tube. They arent complete stoner fools either....they take of fine glass just as well as the next guy. These were US ROORs BTW. Suffice to say, I am quite pleased with my purchase....especially considering how much I payed.
The reason ROORs and similar bongs (like the one I have) are able to get you more high is because they are VERY effective at cooling the smoke. The cooler the smoke is, the more you can inhale and the longer you can hold it. ROORs claims their bongs are engineered and scientifically tested to ensure they offer the largest volume of most efficiently cooled smoke. While I believe them, I dont think the benefits are great enough to pay the extra cash.
BTW, I am pretty sure my bong is not made by glassonglassguy.com If you look at the base of mine it is 6 sided....not a circle. And at each corner on the bottom the glass is sandblasted. Plus the ice notches do not appear to be similar. could be wrong however
