Alright, so heres the deal:
I'm going on a school ski trip. Been on this trip in my younger years of high school, and as a junior brought some stuff with me. They search peoples bags before going on the bus for the 3 day ski trip.
They only search bags, never any people.
Now the director of this trip, happens to be a well dick. He searched all my bags while I was sleeping, along with everyone in my room on a previous trip because "someone smelled like smoke". Ended up costing me a nice chunk of chance for ditching the bud, but in the long run he couldn't do shit.
So this guy, maybe, wants to bust my balls. He knows he fucked up last time because, well, I'm not in jail. So this tip (from a pretty reliable source), could pose to be true.
What I'd like to know:
1) What are my rights, let the damn dog sniff my bags, can the dog sniff me?
2) What if the dog sniffs me and wags its damn tail or anything? Can I then be searched?
3) What exactly can these dogs smell?
Any infomation would be appreciated. I'd like as much info ahead of time, so I can gauge if I want to bring anything, and if I need have some nice paperwork ready (mad sketchy, but it would beat jail).
