Well jigsaw/ring/ect are all horror films but they just aren't scary
MoF had more realistic elements of 'pain' be it emotional or not it was damn harsh
Then again I know exactly how Creasy was feeling
I've been in that dark depressed funk only to be brought back then dropped again when the spark of light in my life was taken away by less extreme shit then what was in man on fire but more then enough to make it all hit home
Jist is I can understand why he snapped on every level so it's all the freakier/sadder to watch as he finds that special someone only to be thrust back into the darkness
Some psycho with no real motavation in a horror flick just doesn't shake me up lol
