ok lets start this

highest definition mode supported in Halo2 is 480P(progressive), so your options are 480P or 480i(interlaced), interlaced causes a natural type of "blur" which hides some of these jaggies, progressive is differnt, it causes sharper looking edges which makes alisaing more noticeable

now, standard CRT tvs(which dates from the oldest tvs to todays tvs, you know the big bulky ones that weigh 120pounds even though its only 27inches?)also have a natural AA typle effect,bluring edges, but high def tvs in flavours of LCD plasma DLP or any other technology out there this wont occur


so suck it up, after all 480i= 640x240 resolution max 30FPS(at a 60hz refresh rate) and 480p=640x480 max fps 60fps(with 60hz refresh rate)
