You know, that really did help. The last time I saw that movie I was maybe 15-16? Anyway, I never looked at it that deeply. It never dawned on me that Pete might have been a figment of Fred's mind.

Who is the Mystery Man, though? Is he real? If so, what was his purpose?

BTW, the soundtrack is totally badass
