Im not a pro but...
1st: You shouldnt have more than one plant in the same pot..... unless its huge.. and judging by the pic yours arent.
2nd: You only have one light and being that its CFL (compact fluorescent).. or as you put it 'spiral thingy', and it should be way closer to the pots.
