I like this newbie faq idea. Not that they read the current faq, but if we had a newbie faq to link them to (so we werent' always searching for the right thread, we could just always link to one). I was thinking a thread with several categories and the links going to the best thread or 2 or 3 very good threads on that category.
I'm pretty high so that sounds like it makes sense to me. If it does and sounds like something worthwhile, I'd be glad to take a crack at putting it together. So whoever else reads this - please speak up. I don't want to waste my time doing something like that and no one use it.

1. Signature Limits: All signatures should not exceed the following size limits, and you can't have both text and images.
Text Signatures: 4 lines normal size OR 8 lines small size and up to 90 chars per line. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed.
For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and 20k in size.
