nice job DBW, i think we should all add little tips that should help us or did help us get out of situations and stuff like that...
for me i never hide anything in more than one place, i always keep it in these 2 sometimes 3 (if i have alot of weed, like an ounce or more) air tight things that are on my wieght bench system thing...i used to smoke in my room but after one time when i smoked a bowl came back in and my mom walked in and smelled pot (didnt get caught though) i stoped that...never smoke in your room while people are home...even if you use a spoof the smoke from the bowl hit you just took will linger...do it in the shower if need be while people are home...dont get cocky, use a spoof too it never eliminates the smell completly if you dont.
when doing it in the shower open a window turn on a vent and smoke up but cover the bowl after every hit to make sure now smoke is getting out...o ya back to the stash...never hide it in a new place everytime...if you hide it in the same place all the time youll never loose it or wake up from a session from the night before and wounder where you hid it...always put everything you got back when your done...dont leave anything like roaches, papers, filters, dryer sheets, spoofs, like that out in the open or anywhere else for that matter...also dont take out your piece periodically to view it, because it smells where it is and itll smell up your room if you keep takin it out, the less you take it out the less a chance it looks like its a commonly used place to put stuff and nobody will think to look there...
