I'm going to go ahead and take a guess on this one... my friends and i build tons of home-made peices and we have been for quite some time... for the past two years we've mainly only used glass... because our objective is all glass, nothing else, it's quite hard getting perfect seals and takes a ton of teedeous work to get everything sealed correctly... i have noticed though, that if there is a very tiny leak, for some reason the weed will burn extremely fast and you can almost cash an entire bowl but you don't actually pull in that much smoke... it's a really weird effect but it hapens a lot when we first test them before we finish everything up... so i'd try pulling on the bong with your thumb covering the actuall bowl head and seeing if you can even get the slightest draw... because if you can you need to fix that shit
