That article touched on several of my exact feelings towards prohibition, and lots more that I hadn't.
For some reason, I try to avoid the "race card" almost at all costs. I think race wouldn't be such a big deal if we didn't make it such. Ever see studies regarding whether children with buck teeth score higher on the SAT? Or see how many people get arrested that have an ingrown toenail?
Nope. Because these things don't really matter. Neither does race to the extent that most of us take it. We all make it such a big deal for some reason. (A reason I have yet to really understand.)
I've heard some about Traffic on the morning news on the radio on the way home from work (almost a record for prepositional phrases in one sentence?). I'm glad it's getting recognition.
