eeeevning gulfster, i dont use any special soil mix as such , all i do is get a big bag of regular compost and mix it with some perlite and a smaller bag of more expensive potting mix compost .. one thing i will say though is to keep your soil nice and loose like bread crumbs.. cant really help with the flouro thing ive not realy used them .. but from what ive read they can be practially on your plant with out any light burning going on ..
also dont forget different strains will grow and react differently to different things ...
