hey man i am an electician you can derive 120 volts from that receptacle. First kill your breaker. if you open that recept up youu should see a red, black and a white wire. the red, and black are your hots. The white is the neutral. the red and balck whould be delivering aroun 12o volts to ground. If you were to cut a hole in your wall install a bigger box ( 2 gang box is technical jargon) you could install two recepts in the box that were dedicated ( nothing else on them but whats plugged in). the problem is that the wire in box is probaly #8-#10 wire . check your panel if the breaker is a 30 amp breaker it probably is #10. getting that wire around the screws for a recept might be difficult and you would probaly want to get 20 amp recepts. or you could use only one of the wires put a wirenut around one of thn em push it to the back of the box. and use the other for the recept, and probably wouldnt hurt to disconnect the unused wire from the breaker in your box. Then you could have a extra slot in your box if you bought another breaker. if you did purchase another breaker you could get a 20 amp breaker and use the existing wire ( you can always upsize the wire on your breaker but never upsize the breaker on your wire)
gettn shocked and stoned is fn great
