Best thing you can do is keep them watered. no matter what they will continue to grow great as long as they have plenty of H2O... the soil will have enough nutrients to support them there entire growth...

but right now is a good time to get some other grow spots ready for next year... start making some compost with grass cuttings leaves ect... ive done this years on end and it seems to work great... it takes about 6-8 months for all that to break down into rich soil so it should be good for next year if you start up on it now
