Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

Well, finally got around to pH testing my indoor babies...still around 7, 7.1. Slow depreciation, but progress nonetheless.

Flushed them both, will do some checking in a couple days. I was thinking of beginning to water them with distilled water + unsulphered molasses (1 tbsp per gal) starting tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Any opinion on this? I've heard that it benefits them well, but I'm somewhat concerned as to how the sugariness would affect the already-high pH.

Planning (if I have time) to go back to Home Depot and pick up another lighting fixture or two, and two more CFLs (one day bright and one average brightness, again both @ 60w equivalents) and then to Staples for a clamp-on low-powered fan to keep 'em a little cooler, not that they're all that hot now. That'd bring me up to 4-5 CFL fixtures. Planning to buy a surge protector too, because I'll then have 4-6 plugs and my current extension wheel only has four outlets. Planning to bring in #4 from outdoors and put her under the lights with her two girlfriends. There's been some sun lately, so she's started to blossom just a tad, and I want to get her under a 24/0 setting to help her heal up.

#3 appears more and more likely to be a lost cause. Alas.

Lastly, I've seen some major improvements out of #1 since I brought her in. You were right about the CFLs being more than beneficial and somewhat making up for the recent lack of sun. Her leaves are coming back, greener than before, and the uppermost node (believe that's the term) is shimmering with trichs, as are the other nodes on her, to a lesser degree. It's a beautiful thing to watch.

#2 has picked up some trichs as well, but since she's substantially shorter in height than #1, the lights aren't as near to her. The clamp lamp isn't more than 6" in length when stretched out, so it's hard to make it reach within two inches...it's probably about 4" away now, which is why I want to get two more: one additional lamp to put over #2, and then one lamp for #4 to bring her in (as you prolly noticed, she's much taller...er, lankier, than the others, so reaching close won't be much of a problem, I should imagine).

Well...that was quite an essay I guess. Enough for now. Can't thank you enough for the continued support though, KAT. I really appreciate it yo.
