I am on the verge of joining the military(navy or marines) and you don't join just to go fight. Most people join the military for the experience, great opportunities and the fucking AWESOME benefits. If i were to join the military and go to school while enlisted they pay for ALL of the schooling + you get your salary + all medical/dental and that shit is covered + if you live off base you get X amount of dollars per month. The military is a fucking GREAT opportunity.

Also if you join it's not 100% you are going to fight, i depends on the branch and your job.
