I loved the first 4 seasons, think it's absolutely hilarious but somewhere along the road Zach Braff became too self aware (after Garden State probably) and, with the help of the writers, turned the character of JD from someone who was goofy, stupid, but had depth into just a walking caricature that pisses the fuck out of me. Same goes with a few of the other characters.
