^I'd agree. Earthquakes and wars, especially with humans, are much too common. With the invention of airplanes, automatic rifles, and other modern warfare technology pre-WWI, how hard is it for a war to consume most of the world? And during post-war, there are always people and religions regathering, moving, and changing.

I'm sorry but history is still on course. You can't assume that any of the past wars have been the worst that will ever happen, because I'm positive they won't be. Once tensions become more strenuous between allies/countries with nuclear capabilities, there's no saying how many bloody battles will happen.
