Perhaps the most significant sign is the return of the Jews to the land of Palestine. God promised the land of Palestine to the Jews back in the days of Abraham.

The Jews have been scattered over the entire earth for almost nineteen hundred years, but God promised many times in his Word that He would return them to their land.

Just because the Jews are gathering in Palestine, that doesn't mean it's a prophet becoming fulfilled. It reminds me of how kings during medieval times would simply say God appointed them to rule (Insert Kingdom Here). The Jews could be saying, God promised us this land, so we're here to stay. They, too, could be using the bible as an alibi for what they pursue (their official country).
Ever since the expansion of commerical airlines, how hard is it to move now, and a couple decades ago, compared to moving pre 20th century?
