Yeah, fish emulsion is a good organic source for Nitrogen. BUT IT'S FOR VEGETATIVE STAGE mostly, ok? Give them a little of P (bat guano) and K (molasses) in veg too (for balance). Keep feeding a little fish em. in flowering too.

The mulch isn't mixed in but placed on top! When you mix in the blood meal, bone meal, manure, lime (or ashes or eggshells) and the local soil, over the winter put the mulch on so the nutes aren't flushed out. Then, in July, when you actually plant, take off the "winter mulch", mix in the peat ( or coco, or promix), the wormcastings and place the fish on top a few inches from surface. Plant the mj, water, add more new mulch (= grass, leaves...) that you keep all summer long (change it when it's yellow or use veg. that don't get yellow too quick for camo I suppose).

Mulch will reduce watering trips and increase yield.
