Thanks for the input and i dont doubt that the carbon filters that utilize actual activated carbon pellets is more effective, it makes sense with the surface are calculations (filters with a certain width of filler would bump the surface area equation up 2x or 3x) |
Look, your gonna do whatever you want regardless of what anyone says on here. I'm
just trying to help you out.
Yea, I saw what it said....It's rated at something like 500 some CFM's.
C'mon.....think about, doesn't that sound a little far fetched.
I've tried so many cheap thrifty ideas on saving money on my grows and the #1 thing
I've tried to save money on was getting rid of the smell.
I've tried everything.
I've even tried making my own carbon scrubbers.
Finally I did it what the books recommend.
I have a 28 inch tall by 9 inch wide ProFilter attached to a 265 Cfm blower.
I grow Dutch Passion Oasis, Hydro, SoG style. I grow a total of 24 plants at one time.
Anything less than what I use for getting rid of smell would be ineffective and the entire place that I grow in would stink like hell.
