will this effectively work for my 2'x2'x5' darkroom tent will a 171 cfm inline fan?

makes me wonder since these are a bit cheaper than the more popular carbon scrubber design.
When these filter first came on the market I looked into them for their light weight and ease of installation. In my research what I was able to figure what was that they were initially very affective but the relatively small amount of activated charcoal would become saturated much quicker than a traditional can filter. The local hydro shop advised that these filter had about a 12 month likely lifespan as opposed to 2 years+ on a can filter. If you are just starting or only do a round a year or so I say they are great. If you are setting up a more permanent room or want to be more careful I'd go with an appropriately sized can filter.
