High fructose corn syrup and water are the main extra ingredients with dxm. I think syrup is not that bad as long as you make sure DXM is the only active ingredient. Sorbitol can be rough as well in the cough gels even though it is an inactive ingredient. Nonetheless it would be nice to have dxm powder. I don't plan on taking this more than once every 2 weeks and also will never go past the second plateau. Like said earlier, I find the first plateau the most fun and don't understand why people skip it to go to more messed up stages. Great video here.
