tin aluminum/tin can be bad for you, and yes you can get poisoned from it in excess quantities. (if you like, check out this article:

When I was in highschool we would always make pipes out of water bottles.. because you can use things around school to make it. All you need is a bottle, and tin foil, and some tape.
