Yeah, I seen that but what else? I haven't seen anything else to suggest this giant media thing people complain about.
Also, one of the bigwigs at Advanced Nutrients did a ton of consulting on the show for season 2 or something like that. I read an article about it a few months back but I don't remember the details. It was all about how one of the founders of AN was asked to come in and help them make the show more realistic and how he basically showed them how to build a real hydroponic system with all the controls and so on. Top rate stuff.
Oh, and it mentioned how they had all these high-end fake plants made up to simulate all the stages of growth so that it would look like the crop was maturing, since they can't exactly grow weed on the set just as a prop.
So maybe AN gets product placement in exchange for the help they gave the show? I dunno, but I doubt they're really shelling out for that anyway.
