Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone had experience with applying for legal medical marijuana in Canada. I just learned today that it actually is legal in Canada. I have plenty of symptoms which could be treated, but I was wondering if I needed to get them diagnosed in advance and if anyone perhaps knew of a way to contact certain doctors that are more open about recommending marijuana (needed for application).

I want to apply to grow my own and to be a medical patient. I got the forms already, but I need doctors approvals and whatnot. I have already emailed a few websites information departments who are trying to explain the concepts to medical patients in need, but I'm not sure if they can recommend "pot friendly" doctors or offices...which would help.

If anyone could point me at a thread, or knows more information that would help me, please speak up. Thank you a million times over for your assistance!
