Vyvanese is designed to mock Adderall. 50mg of Vyvanese is about the equivalent of 30mg XR Adderall supposedly and in trials 150mg of Vyvanese produced likeable euphoric effects similar to 40mg of Dextroamphetamine (Dextroamphetamine helps make up Adderall). It's developed as an extended release chemical and is attempting to replace Adderall because of Adderall's detrimental effects on the body... one mother sees her child on a pharmaceutical, the other only sees her child on speed. If you plan on going to a psychiatrist for Adderall, plan on being prescribed Vyvanese first.

It's still relatively new and I've had no experience with it first-hand, neither have I done too much reading on it due to lack of interest.
