Ah the first signs of life. Always a refreshing sight. The top-right one seems really eager to grow. Got a couple more seeds germed. Still got another 7 coming. Should have another 3 in some rapid rooters i'm guessing tomorrow, then the rest on friday and saturday. With HGS i'm pretty confident we'll get 100% germ rate.
I know it's kind of no-no until they get some real roots, but I pulled out one of the rapid rooters to just to see and there was a crazy tap root shooting out of it! I wish I had taken a pic. Sorry.
Also a bit of speed bump. I checked the tubs again today and there were still one or two leaks. I also came to realization that when the tubs are full of water, they bow out all crazy and the lids pop off. We're gonna have to add some reinforcements to the tubs
oh well. For $8 a tub, I still say they were worth it.
Anyone have any suggestions as to how to reinforce the plastic tubs?
