ok ive had a small greenhouse in the garden for a while now so when i was given 9 tiny plants i thought no problem this should be amusing lets grow. well this was on june the 6th. Now were nearly through to october im quite pleased with the progress ive had to take out 2 male plants which was kind of lucky as the space i had seemed to be shrinking due to some rapid growth. i planted the babies into builders buckets filled with organic compost from our local garden center and have been using a chicken manure tea solution for the ferts.standard garden canes provide support for the plants and have done fine. the 3 largest plants are super skunk and are now as tall as i am in their buckets (6ft 2) and are just starting to look frosty around the bud sites which are quite plentiful, the other 4 are supposedly great white sharks these are not so developed budwise and they are not as tall.i have had to water the plants once or twice a week depending on the weather and have used the tea quite sparingly. to keep any frost problems at bay i have brought a small greenhouse heater for just in case moments. i havent had a frost yet but im sure its only a matter of time living in the uk. this is my first ever grow and i didnt expect much so anything is a bonus but fingers crossed i might get a decent bit of personal smoke for the winter season
