Whenever I need to make cannabutter or (in the near future) THC pills, i just take 2 pots from my kitchen which are really old and unimportant, make a double boiler (stack the pots; weed and fatty substance in top pot, water in the bottom pot) and put in on the BBQ on low-medium heat. You're already outside so it should only take about 10-20 minutes to get rid of the smell instead of 2 hours. Just make sure you dont have any nosy neighbors around
