. I don't know if you already mentioned it but I have a book called Deadly Alliance. I haven't read the entire book but it's about the FBI's secret Top Echelon program where they worked with top organized crime figures and often overlooked their violent activities in exchange for intel. The book highlights Whitey Bulger and other related associates. Good post, some of those books sound interesting.
