| Re: College chiefs urge new debate on drinking age
I hate how MADD argues that the 21 law has helped reduce accidents related to alcohol. There are fewer accidents because you limit the number of people who can actually purchase alcohol. I believe that if you can be called an adult by our government and can die for our country overseas at 18 years old, then you should be able to have a beer in peace. I've got a new idea for MADD, just prohibit alcohol altogether. That would certainly reduce accidents and fatalities, but would we want to go down the prohibition road again? I think not.
