i read an article i believe is related to this where the canadian gov. is growing the medical marijuana in an old mine shaft, where the soil is poison the water is poison ( high in levels of lead and and ?) and they are also using chemicals instead of organic material for fertilization,probably not the best thing for the patients who do not need more poisons added to their bodies. makes me wonder why?
