Pav is right on the money. My defination of militia is either citizens defending their country or citizens fighting the gov. Now since there are no militias to defend out country because america is has like the strongest army in the world, guns can really only be used for protection or causing crimes. The easy way for the gov. to do this is banish the 2nd ammendment so the only way to get them is the black market. Since they can't do that they make a bunch of laws that limit the rights of guns.
