Of course you can verify your own existence. But how do you know that the TV or computer exists? Because you see it? Our senses are easily deceived. Delve deeper into how you know things exist. Your eyes have seen things that are not there. Your hand have felt things that aren't there. So how can you rely on senses alone? For all you know this could be a Matrix like scenario like you said.
