Yeah, I only have one or two butterfly shots in my entire collection. They're hard enough to find around here unless you happen to be in an area with heavy flower growth, and plus they're
incredibly skiddish as it is.
That's a very nice shot, though! I don't use that out of frame compositon very often, but it does work from time to time. I would kill to see that one with just a touch more depth of field, but that's just my take on it. If you were at ISO 100, you could have kicked it up to 400 and stopped down once or twice with your aperture, bringing more of the butterfly into focus.
I made the same mistake with the first shot you see here, but I was lucky enough to even grab this one before it took off and left. The second one is pretty dull as far as perspective goes, but I liked it regardless.
