This is the best advice! Make BIG copies of your card and paste them up on the wall everywhere. Take photos of them up there so the cops can't say later that they didn't know you were growing legally.
A local cop in CA shouldn't be interested in card holders, it's only the DEA you have to worry about, and they say they don't go after individuals.
I'd say you're probably safe but I can't think of a single logical reason for the cop to be interested in your power meter unless he thinks you're growing or the power company thinks you messed with it.
