no, for an illustration of the point that ignorance is bliss read shelley's frankenstein (the original version) the monster only becomes an actual monster as he starts to realize the truth about people (ie he becomes less ignorant about the world around him). when he is first created he has a love for everything, he has an appreciation for it all. when he realizes that not everyone is the same as him in that respect it turns his soul ugly.
ignorance is knowing exactly what you think and nothing else
vagueness is not letting people know what youre thinking about
