the cheap ADS' bongs and anything with a dome perc they make absolutely suck. they make ones with grommets that look really weak but the 9mm are thick all around, on mine the beaker was still very thick and solid, maybe it got to 5mm at the thinest part. but you're right no bong will survive a 5 foot fall and most won't even survive one or two feet. even if the glass is thick the joints will still break if it falls over.
