ya it is just a fad. Someone found it and now everyone and their mom is hoping on that bandwagon and getting one. Everyone and their mom now has one of those too.....
Not to mention doesn't seem too unique. I saw someone that had bought 2 pieces that were very close in color scheme and style. and like BigSmoker said, Lux is american roor, but without the extreme durability that roor has.
