I would be interested in finding out how that works out for you; however, in my experience, altering the photoperiods from the standard 12/12 during the flowering process tends to promote the production of staminate flowers. if you have no other choice then I would suggest trying it out. Keep an eye out for the male flowers and cut them off if you find them before any pollination can occur. Good Luck!
