The self portrait took about maybe between 4-6 hours. The other took about the same.
I'va taken a few art classes. This semester I took my first straight up drawing class that actually meant shit. Did a lot of still life and stuff that I've barely ever dabbled in before. I've been drawing all my life though. Just cartoony stuff, like this:
But every class I push to learn something different. Not just sit and do what I like doing. Like photog classes, digital media, etc. I'm sort of self taught in the manner that I draw, find something I don't like about it, and evolve from that. But I was pretty much born with a pencil in my hand. And I had really motivational family, so. Yeah. (:
