your best bet is to do a bucket or grow bag with large openings cut in the bottom so you can have the plant a in a organic nutrient rich soil mix you make up so all they need is water for the most part. Then when they outgrow the pot the roots can surpass the container through the enlarged drainage holes and into the native soil.
