Update. Today I went to apply pesticide to the first six plants shown in the above pictures. We have had sun for the past 2 days, and the last rain was sat night. I was optimistic at what I would find. Well, as it turns out, the frost damage was a big more severe than I had anticipated. You can see the yellowing in the pictures, this must have been where the frost damage occured because those leaves for the most part were shriveled up and dead. I would say 3/6 had moderate frost damage, with the fan leaves and new growth at the top suffering most. Interestingly enough though, there is vigorous new growth at the node sights so I think they must have been unharmed by the cold weather. One of the plants was in great shape, virtually unharmed by the frost. The other two lay somewhere in between. I am fairly confident that none of the plants will die due to the frost, but im sure their growth will be delayed for a little while. This weekend I will hopefully make it out to see the remaining two plants to inspect the damage. It was a dumb move on my part to move them outside so early, but they were too big indoors and had to go somewhere. Oh well lesson learned for next season.
