So basically you answered your own question there right at the very end and you wanted to be backed by a kind member like me.

Generally rabbits will only eat the plants when they are a sproutling, your big plant should not be touched by rabbits anymore, but keep in mind where there are rabbits there are most likely deer so take appropriate measure so that deers do not attribute to a garden catastrophe.
