It can trigger it if you already have the disease, but it does not cause it.

I have bi-polar and manic-depression, and smoking weed throughout the day keeps me level. If I smoke too much or too little I'm not a pleasant person to be around... Basically, ya just gotta find the amount that's right for you.

If you have schitzophrenia, then you shouldn't smoke weed, really.
Exactly what I was saying, its a risk factor, it doesn't cause a disorder, it only makes it apparent or triggers it.
